Dirty and Poor Service

My wife and I have stayed at this simple clean, and convenient hotel 7 or 8 times over the past year. Until today, we never had complaints about checking in a couple of hours early, the friendliness of the staff, or the cleanliness of the room. That's drastically changed. We were unable to check in an hour early. The manager offered no apology, no estimate of how long it would be until a room would be ready, instead lecturing us about why the hotel has specific check in times. So much for treating frequent guests with respect. The room was atypically dingy. When we turned down the covers to go to sleep, we found a large brown stain on the top sheet. We phoned the front desk to report it and were told we could address it with the manager in the morning. The manager was not available when we checked out, but we were promised a phone call at 1:00 pm. We never received the courtesy of a phone call. There are other places to stay in the area, so this will be our last visit to a hotel that clearly devalues regular customers, taking us for granted with a complaint about basic cleanliness and sanitation. This behavior won't be tolerated in a competitive industry. Rudeness and dirty linen will lead to a quick downfall. Don't stay here.
