“As the hotel name suggests the property is located away from the city's hustle and bustle :) you are immersed in nature and its beautiful surroundings. The staff were welcoming and our check in was quick and smooth. Rooms are spacious with all the necessary amenities. There was enough water pressure from the shower head regardless of the negative comments some guests experienced. Food at the restaurant was deeeeelicious and plenty of varieties from Sri Lankan to international cusines my kids...

“The resort is set back from a busy road in a fabulous nature setting. Beware that 20 out of the 26 "rooms" are tents and only 6 are solid built cottages. If you want a glamping style close to nature experience then the tents are fabulous. If you want to have more privacy go for the cottages, which are very large and beautiful. Staff was extremely helpful. As we were few people breakfast and dinner options were limited but very tasty. Excellent option for a luxury stay in thw dambulla triangle.”
“Selvi , Abi and Madhu deserve to be recognised for their amazing service from the time we arrived for our 4 night stay , the girls were always smiling always helpful, we loved the daily towel art in our very clean and cool air conditioned room , then we enjoy the lovely pool and then we were spoilt rotten every morning with the delicious traditional Sri Lanka breakfasts , we give this hotel 6 stars ”
“We loved staying at this hotel and found the setting and scenery very beautiful. the hotel consists of little bungalows inside the forest, right next to the lake. I would like to see more information about the hotel services to be more readily available in the rooms and public areas (ie spa & other facilities). the pool should be renovated and enlarged. Also the hotel should provide some paddle boats and kayaks for rent so that people can enjoy the beautiful lake.”

Food, setting, staff, rooms, spa and pool all brilliant.
From here we used hotel drivers to go to Sigiriya, elephant safari, Pollanawa and Arandupura.

“Wow. Luxurious property with the friendliest staff. The food was everything was picked from their farm. So fresh, generous portions, and organic! Our stay was simply amazing. We stayed in both the Floating Villa, and then the Bankee Chalet. Highly reccomend. Everyone in that visits Sri Lanka should come here.”

"Ho alloggiato nella struttura dal 21 al 24 luglio. Il personale è molto gentile e disponibile per ogni richiesta. Non ho usufruito dei servizi quali Safari e visite a varie attrazione, che comunque sono offerte dalla struttura. C’è disponibilità di 2 tipologie di colazione: english (gratuita) e Sri Lankan (a pagamento) in entrambi i casi viene preparata al momento e all’orario che si desidera. Ogni giorno viene consegnata una bottiglietta d’acqua a testa per ogni ospite.
La struttura è molto accogliente, è gestita da una famiglia, e le stanze sono pulite oltre gli standard dello Sri Lanka. "
