I enjoyed very much the old fashioned atmosphere and the staff kindness. Very good position, near to the Convention center and to the Gaslamp quarter.
The conditioned air is a little bit noising.

"Nice room, large and clean just old. New ownership, old hotel. It was a beauty in its heyday, now smells a little in the hallways but everyone is nice. New carpet in the hallways and common areas would be amazing."

"The whole property was well maintained and the room was very spacious. We enjoyed swimming and sitting by the pool. The room had two a/c's and the bed was very comfortable. Check out and check in times were better than average as well. My husband and I will definitely be back when we are in the area ..."

"The hotel was very clean, and the staff was very friendly. The room was a nice size and even had a refrigerator, microwave, and stovetop. The soap in the bathroom was amazing. We will definitely stay here again."
