“The hotel staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making us feel at home from the moment we arrived. The hotel itself was stunning, both inside and out, with beautiful surroundings and elegant interiors. The spa was absolutely amazing and the highlight of our stay. I would highly recommend booking the spa in advance to avoid missing out, as it’s clearly very popular. We had a wonderful time and would 100% recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable stay.”

“Dormire nella storia...in un hotel che è li da 500 anni ! Scelto quasi per caso dovendo spezzare tra il Galles e l'aereoporto di Stansed è stata una piacevolissima sorpresa. Situato proprio nel centro di una graziosissima cittadina la location è calda ed accogliente. Stanze curate accessoriate e pulite. Ha anche un pub/ristorante curato e dai prezzi accessibili. Se poi si preferisce uscire, attorno si trova di tutto in pochi metri. Un plauso anche alla colazione, ricca e variegata”

“Almost a new feel and look to the Hotel. The room was quite spacious, clean and the bed very comfortable. Bathroom was also spacious, with premium shower gels, shampoo and soft towels. Would Recommend”

“Enjoyable third one night stay over recent years near to Christmas as a stopover to visit relatives in Oakham. Christmas trees and lights decorations looking good. Good view of Rutland Water and easy access to it through the gardens”

“La struttura è antica, bellissima ma poco manutentata. Vetro rotto in camera, tappeti e moquettes ovunque poco puliti. C'è molta polvere. Le persone di servizio sono molto disponibili e gentili. Il ristorante degno di nota.”
