“Nice staff,check in and cleanliness!”

“I'm house-hunting in Hudson, so my wife and I have stayed in a few other hotels and B&Bs there. However, one night in Pocketbook and I'll definitely continue booking there. I don't understand the complaints about the noise or rude staff, becauee we experienced the exact opposite. The staff were warm & welcoming, and very friendly. Overnight, it was peaceful and quiet. “Property is pristine, quiet, extremely comfortable, lots of space, great outdoor deck. It is very near Omega institute. It vould easily be used for personal retreat because it is nestled in quiet woods. We would defitely return enroute to Maine or NE for a night's stay.”

“We had the room with the balcony. That added space was lovely. However there were dead insects on the bathroom sink when we arrived and stains on some of the towels which really made my daughter uncomfortable with the whole stay”

“There was no staff on site. Rooms are nicely remodeled but the property looks like it is still under construction. My wife was afraid and refused to stay. I had to find another hotel for the night.”

“Unique place to stay. We had the smallest room I think I’ve ever stayed in with one chair and a window air conditioner. But it’s old so it is what it is. Loved the tavern in the evening. Friendly kind staff throughout ! Convenient location to everything! Breakfast was served down the block which wasn’t convenient and it was just ok. Don’t think I’ll stay here again but I’m glad I had the experience.”

“Even though it was a short stay, we had a wonderful experience! The staff was incredibly welcoming, and check-in was an absolute breeze—which we deeply appreciated given our late arrival. The next morning, the fitness studio was perfect for a quick workout, and breakfast absolutely hit the spot afterward. Super comfortable and exactly what we needed. Highly recommend!”
