“I believe for the Marriott name this hotel needs an upgrade. The pillows are awful, the bathroom, rugs, and furniture is dated. The linen also needs an upgrade. For family it will work for a quick overnight. The bistro was excellent and the staff very caring & professional. I was just disappointed in our short family time here. 😞”

“This property was wonderful and clean. We had two teenage boys who love fishing and we were able to leave them go on their own fishing on the free kayaks offered. The cabins are very quaint and clean. We were able to spend time on the deck and enjoy the quiet time of the outdoors. Restaurant on premises is very very nice and the people helpful and friendly. “We checked in for our two night stay, around noon. We were told the swimming pool hours are 10-9 but it was closed for the day. Our last day we went down to use the pool at 10 it did not get opened until after 10:30. Then right before 11 an employees made an announcement that anyone that is checking out at 11 needed to leave the pool. “The hotel was reasonably priced for the Fourth of July weekend, which was a plus. Unfortunately, the rooms were very dirty. The air vents were completely covered in dust, and our room didn’t have central air—only a window air conditioner. If you’re not planning to use the indoor water park, I wouldn’t recommend staying here. The staff weren’t outright rude, but they also weren’t particularly friendly.
