“Overall 3.5/5 The room was clean and quite spacious, although the bed nook was a bit awkward to get in and out of. It is in a decent part of town (north end) with lots of cute cafe’s near by without the hype of ‘downtown’. The feel is very much like an Airbnb. Access to the property was easy. There is no staff per-se and check in is all digital. Easy to navigate and well communicated. There is, at the time of this review, no long term parking on the street. “Sam and his wife are excellent hosts. Home is cozy and clean and breakfast is always delicious.”

“Very cool restored hotel, rooms are quite small as an older hotel, however well maintained. Try and get an outside room overlooking the gardens as interior rooms all look at the mechanical on a lower roof.”

“The room was clean, though the wastebasket near the fridge was half full when we arrived. The room was well outfitted, but a little tight on space. The bathroom was modern and clean, but there was no shelf space at all in the bathroom. Neighbors upstairs were quite loud coming in at 11 pm. Location was great for easy walk to the waterfront, restaurants and shops as well as up to the public gardens.”
