“Rooms are clean and updated. They are not dark at night though if you like a dark room. Walls are paper thin so you can hear everything. Overall the stay was just fine. ”

“Where can I start? The room was clean and nice. But that’s as far as it goes. The food was terrible. The breakfast buffet was cold and they ran out of food and dishes. The more crowded it got, the more dirty it was. The television in my room didn’t work as well. I wanted to watch the basketball game and the channel wouldn’t come on. Parking is a nightmare and the traffic to get to Ana Marie Island or Sarasota is brutal. I should have stayed in Sarasota. ”

“Loved our stay at the Cottages, intentional and attentive staff, quiet and semi secluded units on a busy island. Rooms were clean, fit the descriptions accurately and had everything we needed. The beach itself makes this the hidden gem. Walking up and down the rest of the beach we began to realize just how special our beach area was. Other beaches were crowded and small, but not Cedar Cove! One other note, our refrigerator was making a grinding noise, we notified management and within an hour...

“Our room had an excellent and unobstructed view of the sunset. The sliding glass doors opened right onto the beach where we had our own lounges, umbrella and table.”

“No ammenities. The pool is the size of a hot tub. They messed up my reservation and had me in a city view room when i booked a luxury beachfront room. They did fix it but i was unhappy that I was not on the ground floor as promised and we had to share a deck with the guests next door. This was so uncomfortable because we had the next doir guests walking by our room windows, therefore we had to keep the curtains closed when we were relaxing in our room. This was surpose to be a romantic weekend...

“Accommodations were average. I thought the rooms need an update with bedding and mattresses. We had a suite and the pull out couch mattress was really bad. We were going to go to another hotel, but they gave us a room with double beds at a reduced rate...so hard to pass that up. With a teenager, you sometimes want some space and I know they want it as well. Manager was good to work with ”
