“We were going to Sleeping Bear Dunes so there really are not a lot of options for stays. The service was fast on the phone during business hours. I did not love that the after hour check-in requires taking a key from a public box for safety reasons. The pillows and bed were very uncomfortable. When we got to our room the heat was not on and the room was at 59 degrees, mind you it is 40 and dropping. “The rooms have been nicely refurbished. However several details needed attention they are the following: 1. The TV reception is very bad a station would be on then go off for several minutes, come back on only to go black again for several minutes. No point in trying to watch anything. 2. The coffee maker did not work. We tried in several outlets but it did not light. 3. The shower was very difficult to adjust the temp, it was either scalding hot or freezing cold.
