“The staff are very welcoming and friendly. Service is very good. The double room was very clean and tidy. Also quite, though you do, as someone else has mentioned previously, hear the church bells. Have to say it was not a problem for me. The room was very comfortable, a lovely view along Church Lane and across the stone cottages. It has the usual room facilities. The bathroom facilities were very good, especially the shower, as it was one of the few that I have used in hotels that did not leak...

The food at both dinner and breakfast was excellent and the service from Matt and his team is as good as you’ll find any pub in the UK. The village of Plush is charming but very small and rather remote so don’t any night life!”
