“We enjoyed a very restful visit. Friendly staff, our room was well appointed with very comfortable bed. We loved the outdoor seating area for relaxing, enjoying lemonade and popcorn during the afternoon and coffee during the morning. The grounds are beautiful with an abundance of flowers. This is definitely our go to place when we visit beautiful Blowing Rock. ”

“We loved our stay at the Hillwinds Inn. It is conveniently located with restaurants close by and a short walk to downtown Blowing Rock shopping and dining. We stayed in a room with a balcony and it was clean and spacious. The fridge, sink and microwave were perfect for our two day stay. The bathroom was updated. The staff was very professional and helpful and the grounds were wonderful. Included parking was a pleasure. They allowed us to bring our dog and what a delight that was.The whole town...

“We loved the bed and the king suite. We never felt cramped. The breakfast was also very good. Liked the flavored waffles. The only thing we didn't like was the long walk to the elevator and then to our car, but there is probably nothing you can do about that. We should remember to send one with the luggage out front and one to bring the car around. We'll be back.”
