“Everything was as advertised and very clean”

“Bathroom was dirty, specially the shower and toilet. Also during breakfast most of the butter was expired, old. Along with all the breads and pastries.”

“Staff was amazing whenever they could get to the phone when you call. Sometimes you couldn’t get anyone to answer right away but it was extremely busy this weekend. Other than that room was clean bed were clean and fresh. Had a refrigerator microwave iron ironing board, coffee maker coffee pods cups and ice container. Water in the room was for sell so bring ur own water. AMAZING STAY!”

“During the visit, the property look good in the beginning, there were bugs coming out of the electricity sockets. Later that day when I ask the staff for another cloth and towel, he told me that there weren’t any more and that I would have to wait until morning. Not to mention, he made me sit there and wait for three minutes while he counted and recount his money, Will not be staying again.”

“This place was very lovely. Beautiful atmosphere and very spacious cottage. Didn’t get to see the owners but really enjoyed their property. Loved having the coffee maker, comfy bed and awesome tub! I will definitely be back. ”

“Towels & wash cloths were very DINGY, which calls into question the bed clothes as well. Also a complete lapse of communication /coordination between front desk shifts resulted in unnecessary stress and complication for check in of the 2 rooms I had reserved”

“We stayed for seven days. It was uncomfortable to only have two forks two spoons. We had to wash every time we ate. It felt like the space had been sitting a while. There were lots of spiderwebs. The fans had a coat of dust on them. That was sickening. This is my first negative review ever! I appreciated the beautiful Patuxent river and the quick response and communication with the owner. We feel like we just didn’t get the most bang for our buck. It was a splurge for us in an expensive room and...
