Hotel a Belle Plaine

“This was such a lovely place to stay! It was my first time at a BnB and it was great! The place feels like something out of a romance novel and ladies there were so wonderful. Breakfast was delicious and beautiful!”

“It was a lovely period hotel that was restored to its original glory. The room was spacious with all the amenities. The bed and linens were superb. It’s right downtown and close to the attractions. Restaurant and lounge were equally good.”

“Check in was fine- the woman was pleasant even when quite busy. The problem arose when we tried to shower/bath. There was absolutely no hot water. Knowing that the hotel was quite full we waited until 10pm- still none. 7am next morning-still none. Extremely frustrating during hot humid weather. At checkout- different desk clerk. Advised her of the issue. Without even making eye contact, got a shrug and “oh sorry”. Good breakfast and decent room but no hot water is a no go. Unfortunate as we’re...

“If you need a cheap room, and don’t require anything fancy, it’s okay. Beds are terrible, staff not overly friendly, and it needs a serious Reno. Lots of hot water, great water pressure, and a really handy location though”
