“I stayed in 6 different hotels during my trip around New Zealand, and this was honestly the best one of all. Amazing location, beautiful property, very clean, well maintained, and everything felt very well kept. The bed and pillows were extremely comfortable, the bathroom was spotless, and the overall stay was excellent. Rob was also super friendly and very helpful with my late check-in. I would definitely recommend this place and would absolutely stay here again if I’m ever back in Twizel.”

The attention to detail started the moment we stepped in with welcome drinks (non-alcoholic option available) and handmade chocolates in the shape of rocks. The view outside our room was out of this world. The dinner (included in our room rate) was world class - inventive and high quality ingredients. The breakfast the next morning had several options to choose from. One of our most special stays!”

“An old work camp from the 1960s (?), now with a big commercial kitchen, lounge, & individual bedrooms, some with bunkbeds, others with a double bed. It serves its purpose, but definitely not posh!”

“The house was extremely clean and had every home comfort imaginable. The beds were very comfortable and the showers were fantastic. Binoculars and a telescope were even provided to look over the surrounding landscape. We were lucky enough to have clear skies during the nights and we're treated to a fantastic star viewing. Breathtaking!”
