“Everything was up to my standards ”

“We actually didn’t stay as the building was OK but the vehicles in the parking lot were very sketchy and some of the people in the parking made us very uncomfortable. ”

“The room is clean and well-maintained. The shower has an opposite hot/cold dial adjustment. However, there is no welcome water available in the lobby or kitchen areas. When I requested hot water, the staff on duty was hesitant and slow to assist me, showing a lack of prompt service.”

“our stay was perfect. everywhere was clean. the staff was so polite and professional. breakfast looked great. it ended at 9, which was too early of us to enjoy. 10 would be more like it maybe 7 - 10 instead of 6-9. the pool, workout room was clean, smelled clean. the bed was very comfortable and plenty of pillows. We WILL be staying there again, and again”

“place is run down and dirty . the staff is friendly but gave me the wrong room and then once they got it straight they gave someone else the same room we were in. We had just gotten back from dinner and some one had our room key to stay the night good thing we were both dressed ”

“Beautiful place to stay with a breathtaking view of the Chesapeake Bay from a hilltop. Has a speakeasy bar in the basement which takes you back to the 1920’s. Breakfast is very subperb!”

“The room was clean but maintenance needed to be attended to, one side of the drape rod was broken so it hung down and lot of drape and sheer curtains needed hooks to hold in place, big hole in screen, and broken lamp. The biggest disappointment was when we entered building to check in and highly smelled of pot and this a non smoking property. The staff was friendly and room attendant was extremely helpful. Everything that you would need is all around this property. They just need more attention...

“My family has taken several trips to Calvert county, but this is the first we've stayed at this hotel. This was, by far, my favorite place to stay. The breakfast is awesome, and my kids loved the indoor pool. The room was nice. The plants in the lobby and pool room are gorgeous. The hotel is in a perfect central location. Every staff member I dealt with was super nice.”

“It was renovated and looked good design wise. But the place was very dirty. There were stains all over the carpet. The beddings were all ripped up and stained. And it has a distinct smell that is not pleasant. Hotel has bad reservation system as it was overbooked.”

“I love the breakfast I just wish that the menu could be a little different like hashbrowns, scrambled eggs, pancakes, waffles, oatmeal, grits, cream of wheat. We had the same breakfast every day which listening to other guests they did complain and I like that the shops were nearby and walking distance and I did not bring a pet in my room was excellent. Hopefully the next time I come, the pool will be open.”

“The rooms were okay, plumbing needs some work. the staff was okay, they weren’t rude, just young. Parking was cool, hotel was clean. The breakfast…. Terrible, appliances didn’t work, no real selection how they make it sound and look online. You’re better off going to a diner. ”
