The Space:

The Home- 1,080 square feet with an open concept mountain vibes. Beautiful wood high ceilings, waterproof luxury plank flooring, and cozy furnishings make this a cozy place to land for all guests. The home is two levels, but no stairs are required for most guests. The outdoor space is great for all ages. With a spa, covered area for grill with bar seating, and turf. Easily keep the kids entertained on a newly installed playground.
Bedroom 1(Primary)- King bed, side tables, smart tv, ceiling fan, dresser. Access to primary bathroom.
Bedroom 2- King bed, side tables, closet, ceiling fan, and smart tv. Direct access to the back deck to the hot tub and firepit.
Bedroom 3 (Loft)- Queen bed, two twin beds, smart tv, luggage rack, and entertainment console. Sliding door access to small balcony overlooking yard. Please note, there is no door between the downstairs living room.
We provide shampoo, conditioner, body wash, cotton rounds, q tips, and floss picks. We do provide 1 hand towel and 2 wash-cloths per bathroom. 8 bath & 8 spa towels are provided. (Not for lake use, please bring extra for lake.) A minimum of 2 rolls of toilet paper is provided per bathroom. More may be left depending on number of guests and duration of stay. If you use large amounts of toilet paper, please bring extra.
Bathroom 1(Primary)- Single vanity, tiled glass shower.
Bathroom 2 (downstairs)- Single vanity, tiled glass shower.
Bathroom 3(loft)- Single vanity, tiled glass shower.
Kitchen- Open floorplan with visibility into dining and living area. Full-sized fridge with ice maker, gas stove, gas 4 burner stovetop, dishwasher, toaster oven, dual microwaves, and two sinks to help you create wonderful meals. If you prefer take-out no worries! Fully stocked with all utensils, dishware, cookware, and bakeware.
A starter pack of paper towels and trash bags are provided. Along with dish soap, coffee grounds, and sugar.
Coffee set up- Keurig
Dining room- In view of kitchen & dining area. Seats 6.
Living room – Couch, love seat, 2 armchairs, smart tv, coffee table, ceiling fan, and credenza for games. (Games are replaced periodically. We cannot guarantee all pieces are present.)
Fireplace- Located in living room. Gas only. Please do not attempt burning wood.
Laundry area- Small stackable unit located in hallway.
Back yard/back deck- Access via bedroom 2 or outside gate. Patio is fully enclosed with 6 foot redwood fencing. Propane fire pit and grill with seating. Pergola covered grill with bar height seating for 4 guests. Cedar playground for children. Use at your own risk. Plenty of seating, turf, and brick walkways.
Spa- Covered with lights. Spa is built into the deck for easier access. Maintained after each guest reservation. Please keep in mind as a rental the chemicals will be higher than a personal home spa. Longer stays, we will schedule the spa maintenance once a week. Spa hours are set for 7am-10pm only. This is a city rule for rentals. We provide 8 spa towels, not for lake use.
Outdoor wood fires are not permitted due to high-risk fires. Please use the propane fire only. There are two propane firepits on property, one near the spa and another in the yard.
Parking- Flat asphalt parking for 3 vehicles. Chains are required to be carried in vehicle per CHP Oct-April. No garage access is given to guests.
Heating- Central heating & wood burning fireplace.
Air conditioning- Sherwood pines has full central air conditioning. Air conditioning is a rare amenity in Big Bear.

This home allows 2 dogs with non-refundable pet fee. Please do not leave pets unattended unless in a kennel/crate. Pet fee does not cover damage, failure to clean up after animal, or excessive shedding.

Getting Around:
Most places in Big Bear are easiest with a personal vehicle. However there is public transit via Mountain Transit. They provide a free shuttle. The closest location is .2 from the home.
Other Things to Note:
Reminder- This is the mountains. We do our best to control what we can. We spray and leave bait for pests, do our best to prevent rodents, and remove weeds throughout the year. Most of our homes do have sap producing trees.
City of Big Bear Lake Good Neighbor Policy must be always respected. Please review the city rules.
Do not exceed the occupancy limit (8 guests regardless of age)
Do not exceed the stated occupancy at any time during your stay. The maximum number of adult occupants may be less than the total maximum occupancy.
NO PARTIES ALLOWED.
No parking in street or yard
Parking is only permitted in the driveway, designated
parking spaces, and garage. This includes trailers. The
maximum number of vehicles permitted is on the exterior
sign. (3 vehicles)
No amplified music 24/7
Amplified music is not permitted to be heard beyond the
property line 24/7. Close your windows to avoid music
carrying beyond the property line.
Head inside at 10:00 p.m.
Noisy outdoor activities and spa use are prohibited from
10:00 p.m. – 7:00 a.m.
Take your furry friend with you.
Take your dog with you so they do not disturb
surrounding neighbors. You will find that Big Bear Lake
is very dog-friendly! (We allow 2 dogs with fee)
Take trash to dumpster locations
Trash needs to be taken to a local dumpsite. Clean Bear
locations: 4190 Garstin Drive & 39690 Big Bear Blvd.
Consequences
Unfortunately, a few of our guests refuse to
extend common courtesy and neighborly
behavior toward the guests and residents
around them. For those guests who have come
to party and disrupt the peace and tranquility
of the neighborhoods, there are costly and
severe consequences.
Fines
The minimum fine for violating the rules stated
previously is $500 per violation. A second
offense is $1000 per violation.
Eviction
Unruly guests who blatantly disregard the rules
and expectations will be evicted without a
refund. In addition, costly citations may be
issued to the reservation holder.

We generally leave you to enjoy Big Bear, unless any issues arise. We are almost always available to contact. Please use the messaging option. These messages get sent to our whole team and is the fastest way to get a hold of us.
