“I visited in the off season, but the hotel is lovely. If you're used to staying in the cookie cutter hotels that all look the same, this hotel will surprise you. It's all furnished with antiques. There's so much charm and personality here. It's delightful! Don't hesitate to come here thinking the hurricane has everything closed. Lake Lure is very near "full pool" now. The AC in the room was a little noisy, I could hear people talking from outside, having earplugs to sleep was helpful. The place feels more like a retreat. Besides the noise, it felt peaceful. No TV in the bedroom. ”
