“Hotel d’escale pour nous. Situe entre deux grandes surfaces. Piscine un peu vieillissante. Type un peu motel américain avec des escales pour les routiers. En bord de route. Petit déjeuner et restaurant le soir à l’hôtel partenaire à côté . Très bon. Attention on parle un peu moins anglais dans la region( notamment le soir au restaurant. Conditions de voyage: hors saison”

“Please beware this place has a bug infestation and it’s so hard to get in and communicate with the people for the code. We couldn’t even stay because it was inhabitable. I reached out directly and they said they couldn’t do anything about it. Please save your time and money! my family had to look for another place around three in the morning. Such a hassle”

“Comfortable place. Two beds in the room, that was unexpected. Nice. Staff need to be more attentive when . Serving and at the bar. But free breakfast was very good. Great beach, one of the best I have been in Costa Rica. Affordable. I don’t know if they have any beach chairs, I didn’t asked. There are none available at the beach except for the next door resort which they don’t rent. There are different activities offered by other businesses.”

“Latica lodge was amazing to stay at! If you’re looking for that community vibe then this should be on the top of your list. Everyone from all over the world staying there, all having breakfast/supper together was spectular. The owners are everyday people willing to help you out with everything they made the stay so enjoyable. “The Sunset Shack was fantastic for our family trip to Nosara. The beach is super close, and the town is very cute. We were right in the middle of it all. Monkeys in the mango trees on the property in the morning, and iguanas roaming all day. The food, the staff, and the hotel itself were all 5 stars! We would love to return to Nosara, and would not stay anywhere else. Thank you Sunset Shack!”

“We weren't prepared for how remote this property is and the extended rainy season made it even more so with very poor road conditions. Be sure to stock up on EVERYTHING you'll need before going up there as a trip to any store or restaurant will be lengthy. We had to leave after staying only one of our two nights as we just didn't have enough food.
