“Bright friendly welcome with tea and biscuits. The gardens are extensive and lots to interest. The house feels like a medieval manor although is C19 Tudor revival. The bedroom had everything needed and mercifully no television, was clean and welcoming. Al in all a lovely stay with a lovely host.”

“Booked as got stuck on the A303, nice staff, great breakfast and hard to argue with the price. My only minor criticism is being 6’3 the light they’d fitted to the single room was basically at face height so I cracked my head a couple of times getting in and out of bed. Otherwise would recommend for a cheap stay.”

They have obviously thought abut there customers and the staff were great. room very clean with a comfy bed. grounds were really well looked after and I'm sure in the summer months it would be a beautiful place to sit out & have dinner or some drinks. I really enjoyed the food. Dinner was very good and the breakfast was excellent. I will definitely be staying again if travelling close by. ”

“The new owners of the Greyhound Inn had only taken over on the 1st of August we arrived on the 4th and while there were obviously a few little hiccups with the handover Veranik and her husband together with the staff made us more than welcome and nothing was too much trouble for them.
