“Booked a short stay and chose Crockgarve after reading the reviews. To be honest it seemed too good to be true but I am thrilled to be proven wrong. The location and room was stunning and exactly what we needed for our stay. What really made it special was Margo. “Loved the location, quiet and lovely grounds. Was quite far from any towns, so if that is important, it might be something to consider. Not enough towels. Tiny kitchen area. All bedrooms and the only bathroom were all up a huge flight of stairs and the beds were very uncomfortable. Very pricey for what was offered. Would get unaffordable quickly if you stayed for very long.
But it was a lovely home in a lovely area and very quiet and clean.

“It was very cold and our room had no heating, they did supply us with a heater which promptly broke down, they did very kindly offer us dinner on the house, which we accepted. The hotel itself is a little tired and although it has been partially upgraded it still needs a lot of refurbishing to bring it up to an acceptable standard.”

“This was our second visit thid year...a super place to stay the night before heading home on the ferry. Large well appointed bedroom and first class bathroom. Whilst not a traditional hotel as such, Edenmore Golf & Country Club is much better than that. The General Manager who booked us in could not have been have been any more welcoming and pleasant. Great value all round...we will be back.”
