“What a wonderful gem tucked away in Hill Country. We were looking for a place that is dog-friendly, comfortable, and quiet. Walnut Canyon Cabins is the perfect choice for all this and more! The owners are so welcoming and knowledgeable. They had treats for our pup and homemade chocolates to help us celebrate our 17th wedding anniversary. The cabin was perfect! “Pleasantly surprised on opening the front door and fell in love with property as we looked around. Our only complaint was that we did not plan a longer stay.”

“Nice place to stay.. just doesn't cool off to well in the evenings, lack of cutlery for the kitchen, the amazon fire stick in the livingroom didn't work at all. Aside from that.. it was a nice little weekend away and we enjoyed ourselves.”

“The property is in a less crowded area of the river, but within walking distance to some nice rapids that can easily be enjoyed over and over again. Also a great spot to do some fishing. House had everything you need for a trip to the river. Would definitely stay here again.”

“We enjoyed our stay at the Grist Mill Cabin. Two things I would say. The steps are hard to navigate without a rail and the bathtub was hard to get in. We are both over 65 so in case you’re a senior citizen you might think about that. When we arrived on Monday around 6 PM we had to drive around the parking lot 3 times to find a parking place because Me. Gatti’s Pizza was busy.”

“A unique experience, great hot tub, we didn't have hot water for shower that night. Saw the breaker box later and had some hot water for kitchen in the morning, we checked out early. Kitchen plenty utensils. Good wine, star studded skies, quiet by 10:00 pm. Hauling wind during the night and I am a light sleeper. Heater works well, love the skylight dome above. Beds were clean and comfortable. ”

“Came from California to spend a weekend with my son, his wife and my 3 grandkids who live in Dripping to hangout with me. The place was perfect for a 10, 12 and 14 year old to hang out...swimming, hot tubbing, competitive ping pong and corn hole games. It was the perfect spot for everyone!”
