“Loved this house and the quiet respite in the woods. It is a bit far from the village, but so lovely. Spacious suites are comfortable and bathroom is beautiful. The bed was wonderful. The staff was kind and gracious. Will visit again!”

“Terrible experience. Microwave didn’t work at all. Their guy came but couldn’t repair, so we brought some food but couldn’t warm it up. And we bought some charcoal but it wasn’t delivered so I called it and then they realized that I ordered it… so I had very terrible experience overall.”

“The pillows are terrible and need to be changed. Additionally the shampoo was terrible and the breakfast was nothing to desired.”

“I've stayed here several times, but haven't been here in about a year. I was disappointed in the cleanliness as well as some things in need of repair. Breakfast was okay. There was an issue with someone leaving their dog unattended for a number of hours. The poor dog was scratching at the door of the room, making a lot of noise. I tried to reach the front desk, but no one answered the phone. I don't mind pet friendly hotels. I have a dog. It was frustrating that no one could be reached.”

“Not a place I would likely return to. The bed was uncomfortable, and worn out. The space was small and not good for two people to navigate together. Some of the towels were stained. Shades do not block light well while trying to sleep. The lock on the door appeared to have been broken into, with a poor repair. On the plus side, it is walking distance to the town of Woodstock.”

“This property is centrally located near Kingston and just across the bridge to Rhinebeck. While overall it is well maintained, the bathroom could use an update. How about getting a better hairdryer? For the inflated price they charge (which in on par surprisingly with many of the other hotels in the area), they should be able to upgrade the hairdryers. Breakfast is included and starts your morning on the right foot. A good place to stay.”

“Had the funniest reaction to this property! It’s definitely beautiful when you are not too tired to really look and understand the “rustic” farmhouse theme. Will definitely be coming back for my alone time ”
