“We needed a place last minute to stay in the Boone area on the 4th and this was the only “affordable” option with our dog. It was over 200 a night for our smaller room but that’s to be expected during a holiday. If you only need to spend a night this room would be fine for your needs. “Blowing Rock is a beautiful little town. Unfortunately, big conglomerates are buying up the small hotel properties, and the personal service that was once the rule is now lacking entirely. We stayed at Azalea Inn and were disappointed. To start, we had to go to a different property to check in. During our whole stay, there was never any staff onsite at Azalea. The grounds are lovely, but it's an old building. We stayed in a "deluxe" room for our anniversary, but had to climb a dark, smelly...

“The location was beautiful. The only complaint I have is that the check out time was 11:00 am and housekeeping knocked on my door twice a few hours before check out. ”
