Wonderful view of the Charles River.

Hard to work with

I had booked a kimpton hotel in Boston. U knowingly, there were two and I booked the wrong room. Expedia had to charge my card a second time to switch the reservation. I was able to get a refund with permission of the hotel but the manager told me despite being A chain, they operate independently and she was not able to refund me. I paid double. Poor poor customer service and lack of communication between branches.

Receptionist was rude, and in a way disrespectful. Room keys weren't working, so I had to go down and get it activated, just to find out that room was occupied by other guests and their belongings were in the room. I understand that mistakes happen, but rudeness was unnecessary. I don't want to generalize the entire hotel experience based on the service I received but that's not the place I would go back to stay.

I have never traveled to the Boston area. I booked my flight and hotel through Expedia after a lot of research on different hotels in the area I settled on Hotel Marlowe. I was in a bit of culture shock as soon as we turned into the hotel. We were immediately greeted by the valet and other staff. We had taken the red eye and got to the hotel about 8 a.m. . They were unable to get us into our room that early but held our bags gave some recommendations for nearby breakfast. When we returned around noon they upgraded our room for our troubles. They were so professional and accommodating anything we needed they were able to get for us. Our room was Top Notch with an incredible View of the river and North Boston. This hotel cares about its customers. Free wine tastings every night you can even take a run with the general manager of the hotel around the river. You're also in walking distance from a lot. The museum of science is a short 5 minute walk, Bunker Hill is about 10 minutes and Cambridge Brewing Company is just a short distance away. We were able to walk to a lot of the places we went saving cab and Uber fees. This is the best hotel I've ever stayed in.

We stayed at this hotel because our plane got canceled. We were so bummed we were only there for 5 hours. When we go back to Boston, this is where we are staying 😇

Das Hotel liegt beim Science Museum und man kann problemlos ohne Taxi Boston erkundigen! Außerdem ist direkt daneben eine Mall.

Great location in Cambridge side of Boston. Hotel is conveniently attached to a mall and is in walking distance to good restaurants. I like Kimpton hotels because of the comfortable rooms, clean and spacious bathrooms and little things like available complimentary beverages in the hotel lobby. The reception desk is always friendly and efficient.

Perhaps the best reason for staying at Marlowe in Cambridge is the location. Right up and close to a mall, the Charles River and the Museum of Science. The Duck Boats are a 5 minute walk. Public transit is a right around the corner. The hotel staff was very accommodating. No bureau in the room so the socks, underware and such stayed in the suitcase. The fridge in the unit was stocked with pricey beverages that had to be unloaded to accommodate the hard cider and Corona. The bed was comfortable but the pillows were like granite. Plenty of parking in the underground garage, which services the Cambridge mall. Do not get the hotel parking pass, the cost of which is $25 a day. You can park all day and night in the same garage for under $4 bucks. I was in town for the Pearl Jam concert at Fenway Park. My family and I had a great time. I recommend The Marlowe, just bring your own pillow.

Yep, our location is top notch! Also, a point of clarification on the parking. The garage also charges $25 for overnight parking but on the weekends, you can park up to 10 hours (exit by midnight) for $4. Thanks, Joe Capalbo, General Manager
