My kids and I recently stayed at Hotel Marlowe to attend a Celtics game. I am quite familiar with Boston, as I grew up not far from there, and have always visited the city regularly, however this was my first time at this particular hotel, and I have to say, I think this will be our go-to from now on! From pulling up to a super friendly and helpful valet (I sure wish I could remember his name, because he was above and beyond in every way) to a friendly greeting by the front desk staff, we were off to a great start. The rooms are clean and comfortable, the lobby is gorgeous, and is truly just a unique property. But for me, what sticks out is the staff. We had a plumbing issue late at night, and the front desk staff who came up to the room was very apologetic, friendly and kind. She took care of the problem and offered us free breakfast, which I told her was unnecessary. The next morning, my son and I had breakfast in the restaurant and I paid, as I was not given a voucher and didn't want to seem rude by asking about it. To me, free breakfast was ny necessary, but I appreciated the gesture. When we checked out, a different Clerk asked us how breakfast was, and I told her that it was wonderful and she made mention of seeing in the notes that it was to be comped. I told her I paid for it, and she immediately took it off my bill, stating that it was noted in the system that breakfast was on the hotel. Amazing customer service from beginning to end! Thank you, Hotel Marlowe!
