“Wonderful hotel! ”

“The views were awesome, the staff were very friendly but breakfast wasn’t different each day. The waffle was extremely hard, but the egg and sausage breakfast was decent. Breakfast also didn’t come with a drink of any kind, but overall I wouldn’t mind going back. Now that I know what to expect and what not to expect. Pretty decent hotel in the cut off the beaten path. I like the privacy. ”

“The ocean view King had an incredible ocean view. We stayed for one night for the ease of access to the airport which it is extremely close to the airport. Those are the only two positives I have to share.”

“Spent 5 nights with a friend, we were in the VI celebrating my birthday. Hotel is pretty ran down and outdated, pool is VERY small. Complimentary breakfast was good, you choose from a menu each morning what you would like. Staff was helpful, but I wouldn’t say they were kind. More dismissive than anything. One of the nights the hotel had little to no water pressure and staff arranged for us to shower in an unoccupied room. Inconvenient, but we were thankful to shower after a long day at the...

“The room was very clean and had great amenities. The staff were incredibly friendly. The space is beautiful and charming. Bartender and Restaurant staff were exceptional and the food was amazing. My only piece of feedback would be to add some lounge chairs near the pool. But next time I come back to St Thomas there is no doubt I’m staying at Hotel 1829! ”

“The front desk staff on check in tried to charge us when we had bought a package through Expedia. She was not kind our compassionate nor did she foster any connection to us at check in. We alerted the front desk about fecal material in the pool and on the pool deck. The poop on the pool deck could be clearly seen from our hotel window and in spite of alerting the front desk staff both by phone and direct conversation at front desk it remained on pool deck until our check out.
