Hotel a Bowmanstown

“The B & B was very nice and tastefully decorated. People who visit have to realize that these are old, remodeled homes and decor is based on owners tastes. The common refrigerator was always stocked with water, juice and milk. Hot water for tea was always available and there was a Keurig with a well stocked k-cup coffee basket. I enjoyed my stay and recommend it.”

“The checkin staff was not helpful. I checked in really late and wanted to get some sleep they Didn’t allow for a 1 hour later checkout even though they were not busy.”

“Although the staff members (front desk and cleaning crew) were very nice, the hotel was not worth the money. -Breakfast ended at 10am, they refused to put any food out and it was only 9:20am with a full line of people waiting. -ice machine was broken - laundry room was not operable - the bathroom door wouldn’t close - the room door got stuck multiple times - cigarette burn and stain on the bedding - pool was dirty (pump was off) - the landline to the front desk was not working”

“Checked in and went straight to the rom to check it out and it was poorly cleaned by house keeping. Went back down to the desk and he gave us keys to another room that wasn’t any better so much so that there was feces still on the toilet. I went down and asked to be refunded. At first I was told to take it up with Expedia and then he did the refund and just told me to follow up with Expedia that he wouldn’t fight my refund after having someone go up and check both rooms out for themselves. ...

“Upon arrival there was no signage to show the entrance. You just see the hotel. Had to go down some side street and reroute around to find it. The front desk was great when we checked in. Arrive to the room and the moisture was horrible. No way to turn on vent fans. Went to sleep with moist bedding. Received a text that the room would be serviced on the 3rd day. We were only there for 3 days and didn't have enough towels/wash cloths. Sorry I don't reuse those like they want you to. We then came...

“We expected a room with a tub, but the last available room didn’t have one. The room available was very pricey for its size. We decided not to stay. The highlight of our time was interacting with Jenna at the desk, she was extremely kind and very professional. Based on our experience with her we will consider returning on another occasion. We mainly wanted to have one night away, as we live close and our wedding anniversary is this weekend.”

“When we got there the elevator was out of service which we were not told about until after we checked in. With 5 prosthetics in my body that was not good. I had also called two weeks in advance asking for a bottom floor room also close to an exit for our dog. The woman who checked us in was also the same woman I had spoken too weeks before (3/times) put us on the 2nd floor opposite side of the building of the doggy area. “Very cute boutique hotel! Still has a lot of original charm. It’s definitely an older building but was very comfortable. Light complementary breakfast was provided the following morning which included donuts from the local donut shop.”
