HILLSIDE COTTAGE è un bellissimo cottage annesso del 1843 situato nel centro del villaggio storico di Berrima. A pochi minuti da tutto questo villaggio ha da offrire. Situato vicino a molte delle location per matrimoni delle Highlands meridionali con la bellissima tenuta di Bendooley a soli 2 km di distanza.

È il luogo perfetto per piccoli gruppi che partecipano a matrimoni locali o per gruppi e coppie che desiderano godersi tutto ciò che le Highlands meridionali hanno da offrire. Siamo disposti perfettamente per 6 ospiti a soffermarsi dentro e intorno al cottage. Siamo felici di ospitare 8 persone se hanno intenzione di essere fuori a una funzione locale / giocare a golf tutto il giorno e utilizzare il cottage principalmente come base. Non vorrei che 8 ospiti sentissero che possono rilassarsi tutto il giorno. Il cottage è accogliente. Ci sono oltre 18 cantine locali e alcuni campi da golf di alta classe. È a soli 90 minuti da Canberra e Sydney.

Ci sono 3 bellissime camere decorate in stile antico e servizi per ospiti extra con un divano letto matrimoniale nel salotto del cottage. Tutte le camere da letto e il salone dispongono di bagno privato.
È riscaldato centralmente in inverno e le pareti di 50 cm più i ventilatori a soffitto lo mantengono fresco in estate.

CUCINA COTTAGE: Questa è stata rinnovata con simpatia per mostrare la cucina del cottage originale. È allestito come angolo cottura con mini microonde, piano cottura a induzione a 2 fuochi e un piccolo frigorifero retrò. C'è una macchinetta del caffè Nespresso, un tostapane Delonghi 4 fette e bollitore. Un tavolo estraibile per il posto 6.

GIARDINI: C'è una bellissima veranda cottage per il tuo divertimento. Barbecue.

BERRIMA VILLAGE E DINTORNI:

Berrima Village è uno dei più bei villaggi "storici" in Australia ed è ampiamente riconosciuto come l'esempio meglio conservato di un villaggio georgiano in Australia. Si trova nelle Highlands meridionali con facile accesso alle città di Bowral, Mittagong e Moss Vale.

A solo un chilometro di distanza si trova la famosa sede del matrimonio, la tenuta di Bendooley, che comprende lo storico Berkelouw Book Barn, mentre la sede del matrimonio e la cantina del Centennial Vineyards si trovano a meno di 10 minuti di auto.

I villaggi di Robertson e Burrawang sono a 15 minuti di auto, così come le splendide cascate di Fitzroy.

Berrima offre anche un facile accesso a oltre 18 cantine locali.

Ristoranti e caffè: Berrima è diventato noto come il centro gastronomico delle Highlands meridionali. C'è un ristorante One-Hat chiamato "Eschalot" e il famoso "Josh's Cafe". Ha anche numerosi altri caffè e pasticcerie molto apprezzati tra cui "Stones Patisserie" e il "Magpie Cafe".

Four best friends, a beautifully appointed "home", a delightful village with wonderful eateries, shopping, wineries, bush tracks. What more could you ask for. The cottage felt like home. Warm and cosy. The bedrooms were beautiful and beds so comfy. We would recommend without hesitation. Thank you Gayle and Grant.

Really great place in the heart of Berrima, only minutes from shops, cafes and pubs. Hosts were extremely friendly and accommodating, and each room has its own en-suite, making it very convenient for everyone to get ready to head out. Would highly recommend.

We have just returned from 2 nights staying in beautiful Hillside Cottage. We attended my nephew’s wedding at Bendooley Estate on Saturday evening. As the host says, the accommodation is perfect for people who need comfortable accommodation, but who are also out for most of the weekend. The small and updated cottage kitchen was totally adequate for our needs. Some of us ate breakfast at the cottage, and it was perfect for food preparation and cooking for our very young children. The 3 bedrooms are very comfortable, each bedroom having a very good ensuite bathroom. We hired a babysitter for the evening wedding. It is also great that there is a 4th bathr’m off the living room which the babysitter could use. The cottage is located a very short & easy walk away from beautiful Berrima village. The roses and garden environs of the cottage are very beautiful. We sat on the sunny verandah for our morning cuppa each day.

The cottage was a beautifully restored 1843 cottage loving restored but with the comforts of ensuite bedrooms. Very easy walk to everything in Berrima and a lovely long weekend for our friend's wedding.

Absolutely loved it . Great location. Loved the three ensuited bedrooms and extra bathroom. Perfect for couples. Gayle was the best host. We arrived to a kitchen with goodies, sour dough bread, butter, fresh baked pastry, jams, tea , coffee , milk, champagne etc. comfy beds. A beautiful cosy cottage.

We LOVED Hillside. Hillside is a credit to her host, Gayle. Beautifully presented and graciously welcoming to guests. Gayle was ever willing to go above and beyond, especially when the weather became en-expectedly cold.With small children as members of our party and a baby, Gayle turned on the heating on request without question. Her attention to detail is a joy, as was our stay at Hillside.

It was a lovely stay. The house was extraordinarily clean. The beds were comfortable and cozy. There were ensuites in every room AND a large palatial bathroom off the sitting room. There was so much attention to detail - including the adorable restored period kitchen and of course the wonderful local artisan goodies left for us. The location is excellent, just across the street from town, but yet set back enough for privacy and quiet. Lovely place would definitely rent again. Thank you again for a memorable weekend.
