“Beautifully refurbished 1854 home with so much heart put into every detail . Heather and Jason were such friendly and accommodating hosts. We enjoyed a delicious home cooked breakfast every morning followed by a walk around charming Holden. We’d definitely recommend a stay here!”

“I bought hamburgers for the family at Buckets. The sandwiches arrived cold when I asked to exchange them. The employee mocked, smiled, and took 6 minutes to return the food. And when the snack arrived, he had burnt the bacon.”

“The staff was amazing here, but the actual accommodations were not good. The location is fine. Our first room smelled like smoke. The second room was better. The television didn't work and on our second night there, we were woken up by what sounded like a massive yard blower. We have no idea what it was. We were afraid to leave the hotel. That's how loud it was. I think this is suitable if you are thinking of camping, but it just needs a lot of updating. The staff was so kind and present, but...

“We called ahead to ensure late check-in would be possible; the gentleman at the front desk desk was very polite, efficient and professional as we arrived at nearly midnight. however, the lady at the front desk during check-out was cold and unfriendly, curtly instructing us to drop the key cards in the box and gruffly said, "you're good to go". so, there is some unevenness with staff professionalism, but we did not have to interact with them much at all.”

“This hotel continues to be a quality place to stay. Good staff, amenities, and the buffet breakfast is always a good way to start the day. Staff also recently helped me find a lost necklace that I left behind by accident. Teamwork and communication achieved this positive outcome.”

“The room was immaculate. The bed was exceptionally comfortable. The refrigerator and microwave were clean and worked well. The bathroom was very modern and there were plenty of towels for two. The staff were friendly and offered advice for restaurants in the vicinity. Would highly recommend for both temporary and longer stays. Great location.”
