“Booked this room because it said an RV park and motel on the lake. We were looking for a place family could stay in the motel and we could camp during the Crappie Fest next year. What a joke! The RV park is a trashy full-time trailer park. The so-called convenience store had zero air conditioning, nothing on the shelves and definitely nothing to order for dinner. “The room smelled like smoke when I entered. The shower was in need of replacement. It worked, but it felt grungy and old. The toilet was not attached properly and rocked back and forth. I was afraid it was going to leak something nasty on the floor. I stayed here because I needed a place that would allow pets. Luckily I won’t be in need of that anymore so definitely will not stay here again.”

“This was a great place to stop on our way through Texas. The Magnolia suite had everything we needed and was decorated in a lovely manner. Our host was very friendly and prepared a delicious and generous breakfast. The location is very convenient for shopping and restaurants- the little downtown area is very charming. “We stay at a different hotel and had a horrible night, so we decided to change hotels and stay another night. We picked Super 8, and it was wonderful. The room was huge, compared to other rooms we stayed in. Nice and comfortable beds. It was just a wonderful hotel!”

I choose this motel because of it's cleanliness, quietness and friendly staff. Nothing fancy but it is family run from signing in to cleaning etc so you know it's clean, the main thing when staying in motels”
