Paid Extra for a Suite and got Mechanical Noise
Data di pubblicazione: 7-ago-2016
So checked in for a Biotech Convention and on the 21st Executive Level floor. What is this grinding noise i hear every few minutes? and I mean GRINDING! Took a little while for me to work it out but it was the Staff Elevator. Deep grinding noise every time a staff member has to go to a floor for delivery or service.
Phoned reception at 8.45pm. 'Sir we have only had that complaint a few times before' 'let see what we can do i will call you back'. Phone rings 10 mins later. Sir we can move you to another room, Me- is it on the same floor? ; no sir its on the 15th floor. ME- ok well i have all my stuff already all around the room and i am in my pajamas, so i dont think that going to work for me.
Had to stay in the room with grinding elevator all night long although this did drop off after midnight... lucky me.
Next morning at Breakfast- Good morning sir here is you table. would you like a coffee? Me - yes please a cappuccino. Sir just letting you know that there is an extra $5 charge for machine made coffee!
Private thoughts; what "5 Star" hotel around the world charges executives extra for a cappuccino?
Went down to check out that day and know apology, no mention of my bad experience, so i do not recommend the hotel nor its poor management
