“Gorgeous place to stay short walk to beach”

“We loved our stay at the tiny house! it was clean and cosey, I thought it was a lovely welcoming touch to have the radio on as we entered the house. Because of the bad weather (always happens to us, when we go away it rains) we were glad of the covered deck outside. We had a cheeky possum visit on the Friday night, we loved that, the lush rain forest foliage made us think we were alone and couldn't really see neighbours. “The room was not properly cleaned and, in all likelihood, had not been for some time. Shards of broken glass were scattered around on the floor, shower cubicle was very slippery as had not been properly cleaned beyond a cursory wipe-over. Somehow the front desk staff were critical of US for not notifying them earlier - not a very friendly or empathetic response.”

“The shuttle to and from town was very helpful and the staff are friendly. The beach nearby is beautiful and the walk along it into town is easy. The room itself was clean enough but a bit run down. It was difficult to sleep with people passing by and the blinds didn’t keep the sun out.”
