Smaller then it looks
Place is smaller then it looks! couch is kid sized. Ac isnt strong enough to cook inside without torturing everyone. No ice in freezer. Freezer door doesnt stay closed either. Def not worth price

A perfect decorated home- location in the back ally.
Unfortunately this was not the ideal vacation home for our family and we were pretty disappointed. The home itself is awesome great decor, very clean, well appointed. Cutest details and colors, really good job on the interior decorating. The only bad thing in the house is the couch its the smallest most uncomfortable thing I’ve ever sat on- However the walk to your so called private beach (450 feet away), is full of hard concrete sand, large rocks that will hurt your little ones feet, lots of construction. We have the largest, well equipped truck you can buy and we got stuck in the mess of it. If you have children, playing in this beach isn’t going to happen. The immediate surroundings of the house is quite a bit of construction as well, for 600.00 a night we have stayed in some really nice places with beautiful views- we have a favorite river house right on a sandy beach and waited too long this year to reserve so we thought we would try something new- If you have a boat or jet skies and you can leave this property to find a beach you are in luck about a mile up river you can find a beach with real sand. The water at the house is really beautiful it has some really pretty clear blue spots, feels very tropical but I don’t think anyone would want to hang out in a construction zone full of rocks everywhere for the day it really isn’t pleasant. The house itself is great if you want to watch tv there are many options, the laundry room is an additional 150.00 it comes with some games and a hammock, beach supplies, the hammock you can hang on two trees 4 feet away from a dumpster that gets very smelly through heat of the day. We passed on the 150.00 fee for that option. Would have been great to have a washer and dryer included on the 600.00 a night reservation. We tried to make the best of this trip but it sure felt like a lot of work leaving everyday to find a beach and the outdoors there are rough. If your looking to hang out in a beautiful house and are not interested in views from the home or the immediate beach this is a great place. I have never wrote a review but I sure wish I would have known where we were headed. I should have done more research and zoomed in with google maps. Great home. Terrible beach. Perfect place for enjoying a cute really nice decorated house and traveling everyday to find a nice spot to enjoy the river.

Beautiful home
We had a wonderful time on our trip. The house is beautifully updated, decorated And comfortable. We wanted to point out however that the listing photos regarding the proximity to the beach are misleading. The description does indeed say 450 steps away from the house, but the photos make it feel a lot closer and leave out the actual path that you must walk to get there. It’s also not just a walk, its a steep hill made of sand so carrying beach supplies, snacks, kids chairs, and umbrellas became quite the chore. The only other downside is there was construction going on either on the same lot or on the neighboring lot that began at 6:30am. The crew (who were very nice) were in the front yard area of the home which made our private beach experience not very private at all. We would have maybe liked to know that info before booking because it really threw off the idea of sleeping in on vacation or feeling like we had any privacy while staying there.

Wonderful River House
This house is so well put together. Everything from the layout, decor, linens, kitchen stock all reflect amazing care and attention to detail in this beautiful home. Host were amazing and attentive and we will definitely be back! Perfect.

Great Vacation Home
This is a great house for a river vacation. A short walk down to the private beach. The house was perfect for our family. The four bunk bedroom fit all the kids and the two queen bedrooms were perfect for the adults. It was furnished with everything we needed. We have been coming to the river for over 20 years and this is the house we will be booking for another great trip next year. Thank you Raye and Jeff for your hospitality!!!

River Treasure
This house is amazing. It is well appointed, clean and a all around gem. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Tip for those who follow, beach is a little rocky so bring your water shoes. All in all would be happy to rent this house again. Thank you Raye for sharing your home with us.

A great experience!
A couple of my friends and I went for a guys trip and had a blast! The house was very clean and looked amazing inside and out. It was very easy and a pleasure to communicate with the owner Raye! We found a great jet ski rental spot right up the road and were able to enjoy our time out on the river the 3 days we were there. The house was set up for everything we needed whether it was cooking utensils or bathroom necessities. It was an all around great trip and amazing time!
