“Really nice place. My wife and I spent an enjoyable few days in the area and despite a wedding being held at the hotel the weekend we were there, there was no problem with noise or access to facilities. Lovely restaurant, grounds, spa and staff. ”

“This is a lovely old pub, so one needs to remember things may be a trifle warn. That being said, the shower was hot, the bathroom floor was heated, but grout missing in some of the floor tlies. The food served in the restaurant was AMAZING and the staff were friendly and helpful. I can't thank them enough for making my stay so enjoyable. ”

“Excellent - comfortable and very clean room and bathroom; breakfast is served in quirky bar downstairs and is excellent - they bring everything to you. no elbowing other guests out of the way over the muesli bowl (only joking!).
Hotel was clearly converted from a house, it is easy to get most between, bar, hotel and reception.”

“Not very well organized with passwords etc. When I arrived, I had to wait for ~10-15 minutes for getting into the room because it was not ready.
Location is not confortable. It is ~2 km from the city center and the railway station on foot. The bathroom is shared with others, but in my case it was clean and proper.”

Scelto quasi per caso dovendo spezzare tra il Galles e l'aereoporto di Stansed è stata una piacevolissima sorpresa. Situato proprio nel centro di una graziosissima cittadina la location è calda ed accogliente. Stanze curate accessoriate e pulite. Ha anche un pub/ristorante curato e dai prezzi accessibili. Se poi si preferisce uscire, attorno si trova di tutto in pochi metri.
Un plauso anche alla colazione, ricca e variegata”

Very happy with room, nice and clean.staff very polite. Parking just down the road.. shame its not free. Lots of place's to eat in. Generally happy.”
