“It was a pleasure to stay with Shona this week. Very friendly and prompt communication. Upon arrival was a friendly welcome and tour of the property which was modernly styled, very spacious, and immaculate. The large kitchen has no shortage of storage, fridge/freezer space, very large oven, hobs, pans, crockery, utensils etc. and spacious dining area for 8, couldn't ask for more!!! Add to that an ideal location which is right next to the ferry port (first house on the left when leaving the ferry...

“We had a wonderful time at Burnside during our road trip through Scotland. Our suite was comfortable and provided all we needed. We loved walking around the tranquil setting and making friends with the local sheep. Our host was friendly, attentive, and the food wonderful. She lent us binoculars and guided us to the best places to see puffins. We’re happy we had the opportunity to stay there.”

“If you are looking for a B & B on the north coast of Scotland this is it! We don't give out 5 star reviews lightly, and this accommodation definitely deserves it. And the food was fabulous - they could have opened a restaurant instead of a B & B. Don't go out to dinner if you are staying here, order from their menu. Kacey & Stephen are wonderful hosts and could not have been more attentive.”

“What a wonderful stay.. Graham, Sarah and Claire were such lovely hosts nothing to much trouble very accommodating from checking in to checking out.. Breakfast was excellent each morning cooked to order and evening meals were fantastic especially the fish and chips and homemade tartar sauce was so yummy.. The rooms are clean with lovely bedding and fantastic views of the beautiful island.. Can't wait to go back.. ”

La posizione è molto tranquilla, non centrale ma in 15 minuti a piedi si arriva nel centro di Kirkwall (l'autobus 4 che collega Kirkwall con l'aeroporto passa comunque a 100 m dalla guest house). Camera grande, pulitissima, molto confortevole; bagno molto grande, anche questo pulitissimo. Colazione preparata al momento (si riempie il modulo la sera prima) eccellente ed abbondante, con ampia scelta. Mi sono trovata benissimo e posso...
