“The hotel was closed upon arrival and no one ever arrived. The windows were broken and there was an odor of cat urine and a dozen feral cats. We left since the hotel was closed and sought other accommodations. I will demand a full refund from Expedia and my credit card company. Filthy!”

“Beautiful area and perfectly adequate. The property is a bit run-down, the room smelled musty, and the beds were not comfortable. Appreciated that it was pet-friendly and the breakfast was delicious!”

“This wasn't my first stay and will not be my last. I love this quaint, clean and friendly hotel. The staff is friendly, professional and goes above and beyond to ensure your stay is comfortable and every need is met. The decor is adorable, the thoughtful little items in the rooms are greatly appreciated. The beds, pillows and linens are exceptional. Plus, having a cool little food truck on the premises is a great idea. Also, the location is wonderful for exploring Charlottesville.”

“The bed was comfortable, however the bare floor was dirty, there was mold in the caulking around the tub and tub was dirty. Towels were at least clean. We purchased lysol spray cleaner, and cleaned the floors ourselves. My husband had a medical procedure done and we needed to stay one more night, after having already stayed 3 nights and they would allow us to stay 1 more night. We were able to go through Expedia and book a Comfort Inn at a different location for one night, it's much nicer and...
