“I reserved the room through Expedia ten minutes before my arrival, but it took nearly an hour for hotel staff to receive the reservation. In the interval, the room I requested was given to a walk-in customer. The staff blamed Expedia's reservation system, but I knew the reservation had been sent to Hilton because I got a partial reservation number.
