“Our stay at the Courtyard by Marriott Baltimore Hunt Valley was extremely disappointing. The first room we were assigned had a strong musty, dirty smell. We were moved to a second room, which was better, but the AC compressor was unbelievably loud — it sounded like an airplane taking off. “Parking at this hotel was excellent surface parking lot. The room was nice and clean and the bed for me was excellent for comfort. I have a very bad back and at home generally sleep in an inclined recliner. This is by a wide margin the best bed I have slept in in years so much so that upon returning home I immediately went mattress shopping. The breakfast was only $5.00 for a nice, basic selection of scrambled eggs, perfectly cooked bacon, pastries, home fries, rotating special side dishes,...

“Front desk person did not provide any information and placed my reservation on a new Wyndham account instead of the account that I had a card for. Only one towel in the room for two guests and no bath mat. No breakfast as advertised. Homeless individuals in the stairwells.”

“The pillows were so flimsy, I basically got no sleep. The air vents were insanely loud when the AC ran which kept us up too. We had a handicap room, which should have been reserved for someone who was handicap. But the bathroom sink faucet was so close to the counter, water got all over the counter when we used it. It also stunk like weed on our entire floor. Which causes us to get headaches.”

“Convenient In/out parking for $20/day was great. Location was great. Staff was good except for the guy who checked us in. He repeated himself many times. Bfast was good. Staff overall were solid.”
