“The room was spacious and comfortable. The bathroom was clean and well appointed with plenty of light and a window that opened. Great shower and big bath towels. Delicious breakfast cooked to order. We loved the grapevines wending their way along the verandah and the outdoor rooms. There are plenty of wonderful walks close by and it's a delightful and easy stroll into town along the Rotary path.”

“The property is well maintained, very cosy and welcoming. Host Chris is excellent and nothing was too much trouble. Our little dog was most welcome and I think she enjoyed having a yard to sniff around in and play ball. I would highly recommend this to other travelers with dogs. Easy walk into the town for coffee or dinner at the local pub.”

“Hotel itself is an older building but has had some work done. Our deluxe king room with balcony/patio (all ground level rooms) was spacious & clean with large separate bathroom. With nice weather took advantage to sit outside and enjoy. On the Mayday Hills grounds so nice and quiet at night. Rang ahead to check on the bbq and it was ready for us during the stay. The walk back from town is uphill but very manageable. Would recommend.”

“The room was incredibly clean and comfortable. The staff amazingly friendly, shout out to Ros who called me to confirm our stay and advised she would have the room ready early for checkin. Cooked breakfast was ok.”

“We had a perfect stay here. The property managers were so friendly and accommodating to our needs. Our room was super clean and had all the amenities to make a comfortable stay (microwave, toaster and kettle, plates, bowls, cutlery sets, mugs, wine glasses, etc.). The pool looked clean, although we didn’t get time to enjoy it. We also got our milk, facial tissues and toiletries replenished the next day when they had their staff making the rooms, very attentive service! ”
