“We loved this place and regretted that we were only here one night. Our room was quite small, which was fine for a night, but I would get a larger room next time The property backs up to Camp Richardson, so it was very quiet. I loved taking out a bike to ride the bike trail through the area. The owners are great, very accommodating. This place is a work of love and it shows. ”

“The staff really went above and beyond to be helpful. They let me leave my car for several days while I was backpacking and they were very kind and accommodating. The room was very clean and comfortable. It was quiet and it’s an easy walk to shops and restaurants. If you’re looking for a 5 star luxury resort, this isn’t it but if you need a comfortable, inexpensive place while in S. Tahoe this is a great spot. ”

“The hotel is in an excellent area. Very close to everything. CVS is a parking lot over. There is a really good breakfast restaurant next door. There is a beach around the corner with many activities. We stayed 4th of July weekend. There was a parade in front of the hotel. There is a grocery across the street. “We enjoyed our stay at The Coachman...a little more than we expected. They have many amenities that we didn't expect: food onsite, coffee bar onsite, bar onsite, s'more kits, fire pit, free access to the Lakeside Beach. These are in addition to free parking, comfortable room and bed, swimming pool and spa. One minor consideration, if there is a concert at Caesar's, you will definitely hear it, although we managed to go to sleep during the end of the concert. We would definitely stay there...
