Check in procedure needs improvement.

No one at the front desk when I arrived. I used the phone there to dial ‘0’. Person answers saying ‘front desk’. I said ‘I’m at the front desk and no one’s here. I’d like to check in.’ After a short wait a person appears.
I ask for instructions to drive to the underground parking. Person gives incorrect information. I realize when trying to follow his map. When I arrive back at hotel my way (successfully), person admits to using Google Maps and not having gone that way himself.
This is a beautiful hotel but the front desk doesn’t set a good tone for my visit.
Everything else has been excellent so far.

Our hotel has only 19 rooms and sometimes our staff members are responsible for things like laundry or turn-down service, and may be away from the desk.
