“It was a decent place to stay..could have been cleaner. Breakfast was ok. Staff was nice.”

“This was a terrible experience. I was fooled by the past reviews, and they must have been posted a LONG time ago if they were positive. I'm not sure if it was the mold covering the shower curtains, the damp room that smelled like a moldy basement, the 63 degree temperature they kept the hotel at because the air fresheners weren't covering the smell, the squishy/dirty carpets throughout, or the broken side entry door that doesn't close properly and requires no access key so anyone can access it....

“The hotel is very quiet and clean. The room was spacious and well appointed. The prices are very reasonable! It has a special charm that makes it unique.”

“While the staff was very friendly— this is a motel at best, not a resort. Our room was filthy, people were smoking weed all around us, and the hot tub was not working so it was basically a bathtub. We won’t be staying here again. I highly suggest they do deep cleans of all the rooms, update their air conditioning units, get bigger TVs, update the bathrooms, and get more cleaning staff.”

“We stay here just about every summer. Sometimes we book a cabin instead, but we enjoy our stays here. This year it wasn’t quite as clean & there’s a mold issue. Never had this problem in the past. The mold issue is surely caused by guests getting the carpet wet. It would be ideal for the owner to switch to hard floors so people aren’t getting sick. I’m extremely allergic to it so I had awful allergy issues the whole time. I did ask about a cleaner room but he said all the rooms have mold because...

“Great place for solo stay, while hiking nearby trails. Quiet and safe.”

“Water dripping from ceiling. LOUD A/C system prevented us from sleeping and got for 30 min then cold for 30 min. TV system not user friendly.”

“The toilet would not flush, room had not been cleaned. The television did not work. We were not offered another room. We didn’t end up staying. We drove back home.”

“Great location as far as the restaurant is in walking distance and another great restaurant right down the road, just about 5 miles for downtown Mountain View. Beautiful lake to sit on the deck and look at. You can not fish from your cabin, which was disappointing, the cabin is just basic. Clean and neat, but no amenities, whatsoever, but a beautiful location.”
