“Stanza pulita, ristorante di atmosfera, staff gentilissimo, location bucolica. La stanza era molto piccola ed essenziale, il bagno senza finestra, il letto matrimoniale piccolo (alla francese) troppo morbido e le federe avevano un penetrante odore di uovo, piuttosto fastidioso. tutto considerato trovo che il prezzo pagato fosse un po' alto per il comfort che può offrire la struttura.”

“Ho viaggiato spesso in Gran Bretagna e devo dire che questo è uno dei posti più belli in cui sono stato. Personale gentile e sorridente, camera pulita, spaziosa e comoda, dotata di ogni comfort. Non proprio centrale, serve la macchina per arrivare e si può parcheggiare nel comodo spazio privato del pub. Lo raccomando a chiunque”

“This accommodation was perfect under every aspect. Spacious and comfortable room, big and clean bathroom, very nice staff and lovely breakfast. The deal quality/price has been very high. Our room was close to a road and we could hear some car passing in the morning, but nothing that ruined our sleep”

“The bedrooms have good facilities which adds to comfort, ie comfortable bed, Roberts radio, iron and ironing board, cafetière for your coffee as well as choice of teas. Large bathroom with good shower which was powerful and hot. We had dinner at the hotel and even though the food was okay, the service was slow. The staff were very apologetic but there were large parties in for dining and there are not enough waiting staff to cope.”

“ Nice pub with rooms, they are on the side of the pubs outside area so can be noisy. The rooms are a bit basic no draws or cupboards if you wanted to unpack during a longer stay. Very tight bathroom with the toilet close to the bath/shower and the sink to big and close to the toilet. We stayed two nights and the bed was made and the room tidied but the tea tray was not refreshed. Good service from the staff. A little overpriced for the bed & breakfast rate.”

“Purtroppo ci è stata fornita una stanza senza bagno in camera senza che ciò fosse segnalato nella prenotazione. La stanza era caldissima ed una delle due finestre era bloccata. Nella camera correvano tubi bollenti che facevano da termosifone. Alle rimostranze di mia moglie alla cameriera l’unica risposta è stata: lo sappiamo (!). Ho chiesto del direttore il quale nonostante il mio stentato inglese si è guardato bene dal dirmi che era italiano. È venuto nella stanza e non ha potuto che...

“Lovely ”

“Room was lovely however, water pressure wasn't great and it took ages to fill the bath in the room we were in. The breakfast options were a bit lax, no congenital options and if you're not a fan of eggs then menu is a bit limited. Otherwise location is fab, really short walk to and from the city centre and the hill on the way back really isn't that bad. All the staff at the hotel were lovely and welcoming, room was spotless and very clean. All in all we would come back. ”

“The Ormond was ideal for our overnight stay in Tetbury.We enjoyed a drink and socialising with the locals in the bar,which had a good vibe about it.Our ground floor room was smartly furnishedand plenty big enough.The queen size double bed was very comfortable and the en-suite shower/toilet was well decorated, clean and provided plenty of powerful hot water both in the evening and morning.Our full english and vegetarian breakfast choices were well presented and ample in size.We enjoyed our stay...

“My wife & I stayed on Sat 27thApril to celebrate our 21st wedding anniversary, we have stayed before & had a wonderful time. Nat gave us a nice bottle of fizz & a note wishing us a happy anniversary. Rob was also wonderful behind the bar & eveeyone looked after us so well. Matt is a genius in the kitchen & fed us some amazing food. It is our favourite place to stay & we will be comi g back again & again.”

“The hotel was under exterior reinnervation so parking was not available, Parking in long stay carpark which had to be paid for, in room 2 radiator would not work”

“Booked at last minute due to being let down by a previous property which had gone into liquidation. Lovely welcome, room small but full of character, breakfast and evening meals for two days very nice and good value. Would definitely return ”

“Albergo situato in ottima posizione nel centro della cittadina. Personale molto cortese e disponibile. Camera un po' piccola e con la finestra posizionata in alto (tipo lucernario). Bagno spazioso e pulito. Colazione curata ma solo tipicamente inglese”

“Bedrooms lovely but tight around beds. but en-suites quite roomy. So easy for different groups to do different things in the huge barn dinning/kitchen/lounge. Our 4 and 6 aged grand sons loved the space and outdoors games. Trampoline, football, table tennis etc. Google the grinding barn for easy location guidance as 3 of our 4 cars struggled with the given directions.”

“Clean, comfortable and quiet rooms. Friendly, helpful staff. Very convenient, a short walk from the centre and everything you need. It was a bit hot in the room, but a fan was provided. I would highly recommend and stay again ”

“Absolutely, beautiful, clean, spectacular place. Views from the penthouse were incredible. We enjoyed oir short stay so much and would definitely recommend. Be aware though of the many stairs to climb to get to the penthouse. Thanks for a great stay! Emma & Mike”
