“I am very unhappy with motel 6. I rent 2 room for 2 day (07/03/2026 thur 07/05/2026). Open arrival I called the hotel and requested a early check in to just drop off luggage, there was no time for resting and was charged $30 extra per room. The staff was good, no problem there. the rooms at first glance were just ok. my biggest regret was being in a hurry. When i finally got to the hotel and looked around i couldn't believe my eyes. the the bathroom and shower were dirty and the shower looked...

“We had a pleasant stay at Best Western Plus Hilltop Inn in Redding. The hotel was clean, well maintained, and conveniently located with easy access to Interstate 5. It was a great base for visiting local attractions such as Sundial Bridge and Turtle Bay Exploration Park. There were also plenty of restaurants, grocery stores, and gas stations nearby. Our room was clean, comfortable, and spacious. The complimentary breakfast had a good variety of options, and the staff were friendly and welcoming...

“The sheets smelled clean! The room looks and smells clean. Nothing stale or artificial. Shower is strong (maybe a little too strong lol). We had an issue with the bathroom, but staff helped us out tremendously. Breakfast was great: sausage, eggs, pancakes etc, and the coffee was superb! Staff is super friendly and welcoming. The amenities were top notch. For the price, I will come back to a Marriott hotel in a heartbeat.”

“We were traveling with our dog….the hotel had a clean grassy area to walk your pet and for them to “toilet”. They provided a food/water bowl too. The air conditioning was fabulous. The room and common areas clean and well cared for. Hotel staff were all friendly. Breakfast was great with hot or cold options. We will stay there again.”

“This hotel seems more suitable for business travelers than families. The staff never informed us that dinner at the hotel restaurant required a reservation, even though we were staying at the hotel. When we arrived, the staff looked at us as if we weren’t dressed well enough, and they seemed unsure where to seat us. It made us feel like they assumed we couldn’t afford to eat there. Every guest should be treated with respect, regardless of how they are dressed.”

“Glass in the pool, dirty ripped carpets, tub and sink with no stoppers, leaking faucets… the place looks like it hasn’t been updated since the 90s. The hot tub was out of commission, which is probably for the best.”
