“The Inn at Stonecliffe is wonderful! All of the staff were friendly and attentive. The renovated facility is stunning, with each room’s decor unique. No detail was spared. We especially enjoyed talking with George, the manager at General Store, while getting a breakfast sandwich and coffee to go. Loved our stay here!”

“My biggest complaint is the uncomfortable pillows. Just couldn’t get comfortable, too hard. I will bring my own next time. The continental breakfast consisted of bagels, Cheerios, orange juice, apple juice & coffee. Our room was small but we knew that going in as it was stated. Room was very clean, recently repainted, etc. We would stay again. ”

“Very nice little motel. After reading some comments I was a little bit worried about the fact that the hotel would be a outdated. Don't worry about that, the stuff is very caring, it is very very clean and is in good shape.”

“So, this is a very old property. That said, it is very well-maintained. I am of the mindset why not stay in a room that has knotty pine walls and mid Century modern furniture than the usual cookie cutter hotel. Parking is directly in front of your room door. It is 20 feet to walk to the lake front. It is a very nice walk up and down the lakeshore. There are geese and other water birds fishing in the morning, people with their dogs running along the shallows. Just the sort of vibe I want...
