“Location was excellent; however our room was directly above entertainment and very noisy. Also, there is no closet in room and no place to hang any clothes.”

“The staff was great and the room was recently painted. The hotel on the other hand needs a lot of love. The beds are like marshmallows, the furniture is very old and in terrible shape, loose flooring tiles and moldy caulking in the bathroom. Noise is also a factor. This may seems picky but this hotel should be in much better shape for the price. I will be looking elsewhere if I plan a getaway in that area in the future.”

“Staff were very friendly and the best part of our stay. Old building with lots of construction going on. Property sits on the water, but no restaurants or places to really view the water.. Being charged a resort fee ($25/day) at the end of our stay for the parking lot/pool/workout center etc, whether you used them or not, seems really cheesy. Why not tack it onto the price of the room from the beginning, so there’s no surprise at the end.”

“The propery was beautiful, well maintained, clean, and spacious. The location and the ocean views were amazing. The sunset were also very pretty. We watched the bald eagles flying above while we sat in the back yard. A perfect remote destination for a wonderful getaway..”

I was travelling from Ontario for my daughters university graduation and, I admit, a little nervous about booking. So many planes online are deceiving, but not this place! “Host communication was great and check in was easy. The property is oceanview, the apartment isn't. It is a basement apartment in a home that the hosts live in. There are no windows to face the water, and there was no accessible space for us to enjoy the view. There were a few other issues with general upkeep. Quick drive to saint andrews, nice shower, delicious coffee! ”
