“Beautiful historic hotel. We had a great comfortable room. The staff we met Sarah and Glen were professional, very helpful and sweet people. The breakfast was very good. No hot eggs, or pancakes etc but it was everything else. Great Great endless coffee. A newspaper to read and it was quiet and very comfortable. I will come back .The restaurant looked fabulous. next time I will try dinner there.”

“Overall, this was a good hotel, and I enjoyed my stay, but I did experience a few issues that future guests should be aware of. First, the air conditioning unit was quite loud. Whenever it was running, it made it difficult to hear the television, and I could not find a way to completely turn the heating/air conditioning system off. Second, I placed the "Do Not Disturb" sign on my door and later realized that housekeeping would not return unless I specifically requested room service. I didn't...

“Loved how clean the hotel was. The AC and fresh quality of the room. Staff very friendly. The restaurant lowered the quality tremendously. It didn’t match. Although breakfast was included the quality was watered down. Same buffet every morning. Taste was lower grade. Presentation looks good but the experience felt like a pub. No menu was offered as a substitute. Seating was not classy. Or comfy. I wasn’t informed of other options in the hotel. But outside from the restaurant it’s pleasant.”

“The rooms were huge!!! So great for families with kitchen and separate living room area. The bathroom was super large with double sinks and expanded mirror that covered one wall. Super comfortable place to stay.”

“The hotel meets the expectations: comfortable, easy to access and low budget. Service is good, people are kind and the hotel is clean. The room is large, clean and comfortable. The breakfast is just ok. ”

“Loved the 2BR suite with 2 bathrooms- great for our family of 4. The pool was on the smallish side but clean and heated. The hot tub was great! Kids enjoyed the gym as well”

“The hotel is clean and very nice, the problem we had was the noise from outside our room, the whole night it was unbearable. We booked from Sunday through Wednesday and we left Monday morning we couldn’t sleep and it wasn’t anybody to talk to.”

“Ho trascorso una settimana a cavallo di Capodanno perchè un mio amico americano abita nei paraggi. L'albergo è in una zona tranquillissima, non certo turistica in sè, non lontana dalla capitale Hartford, ma comunque, come la maggior parte degli Stati Uniti, non è facile girare senza un mezzo di trasporto. Se si ha bisogno di un albergo come punto d'appoggio per poi girare per il Connecticut, è semplicemente ottimo.”

“This place is in very rough shape. Unfortunately not many options in the area. Carpet is old and worn. Lights are extremely bright led. Mattress was lumpy and linens were poor quality and rough. Bathroom door didn’t close all the way. Curtains to the outside didn't close well and let in the light from the space outside.”
