“Stayed here for a weekend — beautiful hotel with exceptionally friendly and attentive staff. The grounds and landscaping truly felt like a desert oasis, and the pools were perfect for lounging. The only small hiccup was a missed birthday accommodation I had requested for my girlfriend. The front desk was kind in acknowledging it, but unfortunately it never made it to the room. Not a big deal, but worth mentioning so it can be improved for future guests.”

“We had the place to ourselves Aug 1&2, probably due to 111° heat but we loved it, lots of pool time. Weekends are normally sold out! From the world famous Sangria welcome drink, to homemade chocolate chip cookies, to an amazing continental breakfast, to beautiful touches like cooled towels with our chips and guacamole our time at Villa Royal was 5 star. “Sparrows Lodge is a total dream. I needed a little peace and quiet / a solo vacation. I booked a garden room for a few nights and couldn’t have asked for a better vibe. The lodge has a very low-key luxury, intimate feel to it. Food is amazing, pool was great (no loud music or obnoxious people), beds are super comfy, and the garden made for a perfect reading spot. Also, everyone who works there is so friendly and helpful. Will definitely be back :) ”
