“The Castle hotel has a great location, and parking at the hotel. We had a room with a view of Castell Conwy. The historic hotel had great atmosphere, food, and drink. If I ever go back, I would stay there again. Wonderful staff, too!”

“We had the private suit with bunk beds and it was just right for us. The room itself was small but it served its purpose for what we needed - a clean place to sleep and shower, because we were not in the room that much. “The property is ideally suited for events at Venue Cymru, which is next door. We had a family room, fronting the promenade with a fantastic view of the bay.The hotel was renovated last year and there were many thoughtful touches. “First time staying at this hotel, chosen after reading other reviews and were not disappointed. Only difficulty is parking but we found on street parking fairly close. Our room was at the rear of hotel accessed by a lift. The room was clean and fresh and always nice and warm. Breakfast was served between 8am and 10am. Good choice on the menu served in the restaurant which was lovely. Wouldnt hesitate to book again as the hotel is in a lovely spot and convenient for all Llandudno has to offer.”

“WHAT A FIND!!!! A real gem After being let down with our original booking, we found the Black Lion Hotel. It's set in a small, quiet village near the river. We had a superb evening meal, the pub was busy in both the bar and restaurant area all evening, which is always a good sign.... the food was superb, service was excellent The room we stayed in was quiet, clean, the bathroom was a good size, the bed was comfy.
