“Yr Hen Farcdy is wonderful accommodation in a beautiful setting, close to Snowdonia and all the special areas of north Wales. The rooms are comfortable, attractive and private, and the hosts Mike and Sue could not be more hepful. The breakfasts are delicious with a great range of options. We loved our 6 nights there and highly recommend it as a base fir exploring the region, or a spot for just chilling out.”

“Just a short overnight stay in see concert. Just slept there. Warm inside hut. Bed perfect for one. Hot shower in morning. Woke up by peacocks squawking...fabulous”

“Fabulously welcoming and accommodating staff. Brilliant, filling breakfasts every morning. Decent WiFi. Parking was a little way off, but only a two minute walk. ”

“Wonderful place to stay. Rooms are very clean and comfortable. Gareth and Gina were great-they provided a great breakfast every morning- with vegan and GF options available. They were very knowledgeable about the area and just so friendly . The house is a few miles from anywhere and we benefited from amazing starry nights during our stay. Nothing to dislike about this beautiful place.”

“A parte le colazioni calde che erano ottime, le camere sono decisamente sporche, sembrava che le cameriere sistemassero solo il letto (bottiglie vuote non tolte, una farfalla é rimasta a terra morta per 3 notti, capelli non nostri in bagno….). Positivo, le colazioni calde davvero buone. Non ci tornerei più e non lo consiglio!!!!”

“Fab hotel loction great waterfall literally across the road, room was nice and big and warm felt comfortable, the beds are so comfy, breakfast is delicious and there food is top notch them chefs are fab, thankyou for stay will be back staff are fab 👌 ”

“We have just returned from a lovely overnight stay at Tyn y Coed to celebrate my boyfriends Birthday, couldn't fault a thing, staff couldn't do enough for us, room was clean, warm and comfortable, the food was outstanding,we ate our evening meal there and also breakfast which was delicious. “Lovely accommodation but a barking dog waking you in the morning isn’t what need on Easter Sunday. Great food but waiting an hr for simple breakfast to be served is silly ”
