“Fabulous, beautifully decorated bedroom with nice toiletries and refreshments tray. Breakfast was amazing, local ingredients (quality), tasty fruit salad, freshly squeezed orange juice and a surprise Easter egg on Easter Sunday. They think of lovely touches like complimentary cake in the afternoon. Have stayed in lots of places in Keswick but this place is the best. Definitely returning next year. Also staff are so friendly and nothing is too much trouble. They make you feel special ”

“Property is dated, but is having some renovation work done. Still Quite a few shabby areas. We picked this hotel for it's advertised amenities, but found the Tennis and golf putting green not available, plus no secure bike lockup, had to leave locked to car. Poor visability on Security camera overlooking car and had to move it to more secure location.”

“We stayed at Armathwaite Hall for one night and it was superb. The staff were all so friendly and helpful and little touches made our stay very memorable such as a glass of prosecco on arrival and a card and some chocolates in my room for my birthday. We stayed in a Club room which was very spacious. We ate in the dining room which was pricey but the food was exquisite so worth the money.
